Ramesh Ruben Louis

Ramesh is an accountant by profession with more than 10 years of working experience. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Accountants as well as a Certified Financial Planner. He started his career in Arthur Andersen & Co. and subsequently moved over to BDO Binder. He also has experience in corporate finance whilst attached to Southern Investment Bank Berhad. He is currently the Head of Training & Practice Development at Anuarul Azizan Chew. He also acts as the Technical Manager for the firm. His experience in auditing ranges from large public listed companies to multinational corporations, government agencies as well as SME's in a spectrum of industries including plantation, property development, manufacturing, trading, IT, shipping, retailing, etc. Besides auditing, Ramesh also has hands-on experience on other corporate exercises such as due diligence, IPO's, issuance of bonds, corporate & debt restructuring and investigative audit. With his vast experience, he now conducts training for audit and other financial professionals to enable them to perform their tasks more effectively.

His training experience includes topics on Auditing Approach, Comprehensive Orientation Program for new audit personnel's, Risk Management & Internal Controls, Review Engagements, Going Concern as well as seminars/workshops on practical application of FRS & PERS. Ramesh is also actively involved in improving & updating processes & procedures for an effective practice especially for rendering of assurance services.

Yung Chuen Seng

Chuen Seng YUNG is an accountant by profession with 31 years of working experience. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He started his career in a big 5 audit firm. After that, he assumed positions of Accountant, Finance and Administration Manager, General Manager and Executive Director in various business sectors, including financial, retailing, distribution, healthcare and multi-level marketing. He is a “hands-on” person and practises management by wandering around to keep in touch with his staff. In the course of his employment he has personally been involved in conceptualising training programmes for staff of various levels in areas such as customer service, supervisory and managerial skills and accounting. In many instances, he conducts the training himself.

Yung is also a Certified Professional Trainer from the International Professional Managers Association, UK and is now an associate consultant and a free-lance trainer. Among the programmes he has developed are auditing, budgeting, costing, finance for non-finance personnel, supervisory and management skills, teambuilding cum leadership workshops and communication skills.

He also coaches and mentors individuals who wish to become trainers besides lecturing in the subject of Auditing and Assurance Services at an international college and UTAR. His other attributes include organising events and acting as master –of ceremonies for various functions. He has also given talks to the public on the topics of “Adding a Quotient of Fun to Management”, and “Wellness and Harmony”.

He sits on the board of a public listed company (Mesdaq) as independent non-executive director.

Ms Lim Geok Heng is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She has over 20 years experience in areas comprising auditing, financial accounting, treasury functions, education and training. Her most recent past appointments include the positions of Technical and Training Director of Horwath - a medium-sized accounting firm, Training Manager of Ernst & Young, Lecturer in Sunway College and Senior Lecturer in Tunku Abdul Rahman College .

Ms Lim speaks on MASB standards and accounting and audit issues regularly and extensively throughout Malaysia for both MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants), ACCA and CPA Australia. In addition, she also conducts technical in-house training on accounting issues for commercial companies and training institutions.

Ms Lim also sits in the ACCA-MAS (Malaysian Accounting Standards) Committee.
